The citron is a very large fruit compared to other citrus fruits. Introduced to Europe from the East around 300 BC, the Calabrian region offers the ideal microclimate for its cultivation. It is composed mostly of the peel from which the essential oil is extracted. It should be remembered that citrus fruits are the only fruits from which natural essential oils can be obtained, extracted from the peel by cold pressing. Combined with the Musk note, it gives a fresh and sparkling tone to the sensuality of the latter, receiving its elegance and persistence, for a final olfactory result that is distinct and full of character.
