CLIVE CHRISTIAN – "VII - COSMOS FLOWER" EXTRAIT DE PARFUM 50 ML
TOP NOTES: Rum, Mandarin, Pink Pepper, Apple, Lemon
HEART NOTES: Jasmine, Osmanthus, Ylang Ylang, Violet, Plum, Cocoa
BASE NOTES: Cocoa Bean, Leather, Amber, Caramel, Benzoin
The Cosmos Flower is native to Mexico, and blooms only twice a year and is considered the flower of love - To recreate the chocolate aroma of this flower, cocoa is added which enriches the fragrance with a bitter creaminess - Extraction method: the cocoa beans are fermented, washed and cooked to create flakes, half of the cocoa butter is removed from these flakes to create a powder which is then extracted with solvents to create the cocoa absolute
Inspired by the nobility of the Queen Anne period in England and the beautiful gardens that graced the homes of royalty and the elite, Cosmos Flower by Clive Christian, is built around a rich and mouth-watering chocolate scent. A delicious blend of sweet benzoin and caramel in the base is given by a chypre-style mix with bitter cocoa, dry amber and a hidden touch of leather that opens up as the fragrance warms up. The bouquet in the heart envelops with a rich, almost fruity floral accord, which blends with the intensity of ylang-ylang, the sensuality of jasmine and osmanthus, a flower with a fruity aftertaste. Natural cocoa offers creamy and gourmand notes but also a bitter and dark touch, which enhances the fruity character perceptible in the opening, while a touch of fiery rum brings warmth and joy.
