You are in a transition zone where the smells of shrubs and heathland mix intimately (and indistinguishably) with the salty smell of the sea. You walk carefully on the rocks of the middle path that leads to the beach, following – almost chasing – the sound of the waves, making your way through the thick vegetation. It is a narrow and steep path. You touch the branches of the bushes. A bent branch bleeds a thick and sticky resinous liquid, whose strong and bitter smell does not want to leave the skin. And – in front of you – deep blue. The horizon expands and you surrender to the sounds and sights of the mighty ocean sea.
