The essential oil of blood orange or sanguinella had never been very valuable in perfumery. But here our history intersects with that of the Capua Company, which since 1880 has represented Italian excellence in the extraction of citrus essences, and everything changes. Capua, which shares with us the passion for perfume as a family, has developed a two-step extraction method. It is one of those hidden masterpieces that shine here and there, especially in southern Italy, and that deserves to be told. First, the essential oil of only the peel is extracted, brown and concentrated; then, when the ripening is at its peak, it is the turn of the whole fruits that are pressed, passed through a blender extractor, finally centrifuged to separate the essential oil from the juice. Our Sicilian Orange is born like this, as a perfect idealization of a symbolic fruit that gathers in itself the sun, the colors and the scent of the island on a spring morning. To allow you to fully feel not only the sweetness, but also the energy that comes from the deep layers of the earth, we have placed Musk and Amber in the heart and, to finish, an intense aroma of Absolute Coffee.
